The Planning module has the ability to utilize assemblies, or predefined set of items, for estimating purposes.

Fill in the necessary information: * denotes a required field

Click  to save your record.

 Add
Click  to add a line item (variable) to the formula.

 Variables

Enter the name of the variable. Utilizing the name will allow the variable to be utilized within the formula.

Enter a description of the variable.

Calculation/Quantity: Select the UOM associated with the formula. UOM fields are setup in Portfolio>Lists.

Enter either a number or an expression. If the field is left blank, the user entering a takeoff will be prompted to enter a value.
