FURNITURE WORK ORDER REQUESTS

Procurement and installation of furniture is a service provided by the Planning Furniture Group.  Fullfillment is either via:
 
1)  Stand-alone Furniture Work Order Request if it does NOT require
a. Hosptial funding
b. FD&C contracts
c. OSHPD or FD&C building permit with inspection
d. Architectural or Engineering design (consultant or in-house)
 
IT data relocation may be completed by the Furniture Group via a P.O. to a cable vendor provided that the existing jacks are relocated within the room and inspection is not required.
 
2) Furniture Work Order Requests in conjunction with an FD&C Facilities Service Request or funded project.   The Furniture project manager would be responsible for furniture design, obtaining end user approval, ordering, installation, and vendor payment.  These activities would be coordinated with the FD&C project manager.
